Positive messages from forum on The Recruitment Supply Chain
On the 11th March 2011 ABFA and APSCo jointly hosted a forum on The Recruitment Supply Chain to debate the evolution and sustainability of temporary labour supplies via intermediary agencies. 140 people involved in the procurement and supply of temporary labour from around the UK attended.
Commenting at the event Stuart Talbot, head of the Recruitment Finance Division of Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance said: "I thought that today was a great success, there were some really positive messages from both the end user and intermediary community and the desire from all parties in the contract chain to seek solutions to the present contractual shortcomings was extremely refreshing. The onus, and perhaps challenge, now is to see the positivity converted into a real step change."
